140 × 170 cm
Acrylic, oil, wax pastel on canvas

This painting was born out of the early days of spring—when nature begins to awaken, open, and hum with vibrant energy. The Lost Garden is a metaphor for an inner space that had long remained hidden but suddenly began to bloom, breathe, and come alive. Flowing forms and luminous colors evoke movement, sensuality, feminine energy, and a gentle sense of unfolding. It is a deeply personal place the artist has rediscovered—and now invites the viewer to step inside.

“Secret Garden” is the radiance of spring, the joy that lingers in the air, and a tender corporeality unfolding through the movement of color. The pink glow seems to pulsate, intertwining with warm apricot, honey, and lilac tones. The lines, light and almost elusive, guide the eye through layers of emotions and sensations, inviting the viewer into an intimate space where reality merges with a dream.

In this piece, the artist explores sensitivity and the delicacy of perception, allowing the viewer not only to see but to feel the warmth, lightness, and magic of life hidden within the ethereal shades of a spring garden.

This is a one of a kind painting, an absolutely unique creation by me, Mari Skakun

Mari Skakun’s visual language is a dialogue between expression and subtle sensitivity. Her works are built on the collision of impulsive, fragmented yet rhythmic lines with delicate color gradations that create depth and a shimmering effect. Layers of acrylic and wax crayons interact like recorded movements on the canvas, capturing not so much form as the pulsating dynamics of emotion.

This piece will transform a space, filling it with light and creating an atmosphere of warmth and radiance. It will not merely complement an interior but redefine it, infusing it with the energy of pure color and expressive gesture. Feel the vibration of color.

For safe and comfortable delivery, the painting is not stretched on a frame. After purchase, it will need to be framed at a framing workshop. This is an inexpensive procedure.

The painting’s visual code is rich in symbols and nuances, highlighting the fine line between the physical and the spiritual. Abstract forms and soft, flowing colors—mainly pastel pinks and blues—convey a sense of lightness and harmony. Vibrant accents, like bold red and orange lines, add dynamism and depth—like a reflection of life itself, pulsing to the rhythm of emotions. Smooth contours of figures flow into one another, symbolizing unity and the balance of energies.

The writing of this painting inspired me by sunsets in Normandy. People were dancing on the coast, I interpreted this as a dance of energies. because each of us has our own energy

The image is very delicate and complex of colors that convey a sunset glow

“La danse énergétique au coucher du soleil”
La série de peintures sur “État”

L’écriture de ce tableau m’a inspiré des couchers de soleil en Normandie. Les gens dansaient sur la côte, j’ai interprété cela comme une danse des énergies. parce que chacun de nous a sa propre énergie

L’image est très délicate et complexe de couleurs qui transmettent une lueur au coucher du soleil
